MUMC is implementing a new in-person worship policy because your safety is our main concern. If  you would like to worship in-person, please email or call the church this week no later than Thursday of each week, so your name can be added to the contact tracing/registration form.  Please understand we can accommodate up to 24 people at this time and registration will be done on a first come, first serve basis. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.  This policy will remain in effect until further notice.  We will continue to broadcast service live each Sunday on our Facebook page. Each worship service will also be available to view on our YouTube channel.

To access John Wesley’s live streaming on YouTube or Facebook, do the following:

YouTube:

1.  Sign into your YouTube account.
2. In the YouTube search bar at the top of the YouTube home page, type “John Wesley UMC Glen Burnie MD”.
3. Click on John Wesley UMC Glen Burnie MD in the pulldown menu.
4. You will immediately be transported to John Wesley’s live streaming page.

Facebook:

1.  Sign in to your Facebook account.
2. Click the magnifying glass at the upper right corner of the home page to open the search bar.
3. In the search bar, type “John Wesley” and click on the picture of John Wesley church in the little circle.

5. Scroll down until you see live streaming.

The MUMC Food Pantry Ministry will host its monthly food give away on Friday, March 19th, beginning at 11 am. If you would like to participate or you know of someone who could benefit from this important ministry, please share this information with them.  Please be aware of the following:  You must call the church number 410-768-5443 before Friday morning. If no answer, leave your name/number and your call will be returned.  When you arrive at the church, please remain in your cars. A ministry person will come to your car.

Gleaner donations are due to the church before or by Easter Sunday. Please send your monetary donations to the church through our four means of receiving funds (Click the ‘Donate’ link on our website to make payments via PayPal; Make payments using the Bill Pay service through your bank; Mail your payments to the church: Metropolitan UMC 548 Queenstown Road Severn, Md. 2114; or Drop donations off at the church’s dropbox on the Finance Room).

Please help us in assisting the BWC Disaster Response Ministry Team of the Wellness and Missions Board.  They are collecting cleaning and hygiene kits for the people of Texas and other states that have been affected by the recent winter storms and cold weather.  Please send your monetary donations to the church through our four means of receiving funds by March 31st.
