Communications Team

Communication Team is responsible for - Promoting and sharing the MUMC story: Mission, Vision, Goals, Ministries, Church Information, and anything impacting the church. Communication is a combination of formal and informal channels as well as high touch leadership participation.

• Ensures effective communications with our congregation and public

• Aligns between MUMC communications plan and church business, mission, and implementation plan

• Relates communication message regarding communications plan, church plan, mission and vision when appropriate

• Ensures wide distribution of church plan, vision and mission

• Aligns communications in accordance with church mission and vision

• Ensures timely, consistent, and coordinated information flow

• Provides example of the communication plan implementation of the mission and vision

• Acts as a resources for other communication teams

• Improves communications and processes

• Reviews and updates plan/strategy (keep as a living document)
